Trish is the second wife of Mike Taylor from Dads On The Air (Mike) and www.familylawwebguide.com.au (MikeT) the self proclaimed Child Support expert. Trish has used the names Xfiles and NovellaKing, Novella, Scorpiogal28, Dutchorigins and MrsT74.

She posted this on her blog:

"Every time my partner (very rare times that is...since our union last August we have only seen him three times!!!) and I see his beautiful son...come meal time, he asks for...you guessed it - MACDONALDS! Any attempts to change his mind are met with an emphatic 'no' which I only blame one person for and it certainly isn't him.

A month ago, Mike called up his son's school, asking if he could be sent samples of 'his' son's work...only to be told, that he needed the mother's permission (WTF???)

The mother has demanded that contact be limited one weekend per month, from 10am Sat til 3pm Sunday...that the travel be alternate - 1200km all round.

We would love to have residence of the child every weekend, but finances do not make it feasible. Nor do I think it is legally plausible...

Any ideas...when the child lives in Port Macquarie? What sort of demands for cost should we make on the mother...for the travel, since she was the one that moved away and has much more worth in assets than we do?

Keeping in mind that obtaining any money from her, to be quite blunt is laughable....

In training

Tristen (partner's son) is still over for the second week of the school holidays. We have promised him that if he behaves well for the week we will take him to Laserforce. However, his behaviour has been dubious, he is quite hyperactive, kicking and hitting me (when Mike is not looking of course) and has been manipulating my love for him to unsurp me of my sleeping position next to his father...and my passenger seat position in next to his father in the car. To me it's not the fact that I have to sleep on the couch when Tristen is here, but the principle. He is an eight year old boy who should be sleeping in his own bed, and should accept that, as a child, he does not have priority seating in the vehicle. Arghh...I know that if I complain to Mike, he will just say it's my own fault for allowing Tristen to have been, in the past, granted every second night to sleep in the master bedroom, and every second day the front passenger seat. However, I did not anticipate that this would happen. I must be stupid to not have thought that a child at this age would not take advantage of my generosity."

Nicki from Dads On The Air also goes by various names on online gaming websites. She's 49, a cleaner and hates paying Child Support but hang on she doesn't pay child support, her husband does for his kids and she HATES it. She spends most of her days bleating on Dads On The Air forum bitching about Child Support.

"My husband and I do not have children together between us we field six. I have 4 and he has 2.

His 2 live with the ex. He has no contact as he doesn't know where they are.
We pay 27% of his income to support those 2 plus we support my youngest as hubby's income is such that she does not receive a benefit of any type. She's now 17
She made his day on fathers day by sitting up and making him a fathers day card that said how much she cared for him
I have a part-time job and constantly on the lookout for full time work as we certainly do not make ends meet.

I know how hard it is to be a second wife. We also put up with the derogratory attitude of the CSA and we know full well it is not just divorce that has made such an agency

I have been told that I steal from his children, that I am lazy and should get a job ( I was working 3 just to pay out her fraudulent claim) and one even told me I should leave my man so he can pay more to his kids
I was told it was our fault because we chose not to have more children. we could have had a reduction if we did. It's enough of a struggle to put food on the table for the one we do have here let alone another mouth to feed.

I dont mind paying for his kids I just resent knowing she's sitting there getting a Government payment (That we partially fund with taxes) then we pay CS and she gets all the benefits. "
